to the letterpress community!
The weekend before Thanksgiving in the year 2000, we walked up four flights of stairs in an old mill building in Chicopee, MA. And thus began a new and a quite different place for letterpress printers to visit. . . an actual ‘Store’ one could travel to,
browse about in and find all sorts of letterpress ‘things’!
For us, it was a decades long vision finally coming to fruition. It’s been a wonderful adventure for JoAnn and I. . .
certainly not a journey one would have expected to undertake through their senior years.
[When the doors opened in 2000, we were 60 years old. .. do the math!]
Literally thousands of people have made the trek to our doors. From all over the US, Canada, the other America’s, Europe,
Asia and yes, even from down ‘under.’ And we’ve met scores more letterpress people in our travels to
many and various fairs and events across the country over the years.
Continuing forward, our hopes are you who have already visited - and you who haven’t - take the opportunity to
revisit/visit our new location. We’re nestled inside a building occupied by a long-established commercial printer.
Letterpress Things is a very special place we’ve worked 25 years to proudly built for you and the letterpress
community. . . a real, honest-to-goodness Store with, of and for all ‘things’ letterpress!
